Frequently Asked Questions

How do I join Cayman Auto Club?
Simply fill out the application form and email/fax or bring over to our office. Membership benefits apply three days after your payment and application has been processed. You may stop by our offices to collect your membership card and windshield sticker, or we can mail to your PO Box.

How long is the membership valid for?
Membership is valid for one year, or you may prepay up to three years. You will be notified in advance of your membership expiring. Payment is due prior to the expiration date in order to keep benefits current. Benefits will not be extended to an expired member.

Once I am member, how do I receive Emergency Roadside Assistance?
If you required Roadside assistance, simply phone our office at 623-4808 or our after-hours number at 328-8451. A service vehicle will then be dispatched out to your location. You must have your valid membership ID Card and be with the vehicle you have registered with the Cayman Auto Club.

How long does it take for a Roadside Assistance Vehicle to reach me?
A Roadside Assistance vehicle will be dispatched at the time of your call and our agent should be able to provide you with an approximate arrival time. Depending upon your location and the time of day will determine the time it takes for the service vehicle to arrive. Every effort will be made to get to you as safely and efficiently as possible, however our arrival times cannot in any way be guaranteed.

Can anyone use my membership?
No, Cayman Auto Club Memberships are not transferable, are per person and assigned to one vehicle. The member along with the registered vehicle must be present to receive Roadside Assistance under the membership.

Can I receive credit if I cancel my membership or sell my car?
No, Cayman Auto Club Memberships are not refundable.

What happens if I trade my car in for another model?
If you sell or trade your vehicle and receive a replacement vehicle, your membership can be transferred to the new vehicle. In order to do so, you must notify Cayman Auto Club in person or in writing and must receive confirmation of the change. Once you advise us of the new vehicle information, the process will take approximately three days to register your new vehicle under the plan. You will not receive benefits under the plan if we are not informed of the change.

Does my membership entitle me to unlimited Roadside Assistance?
Cayman Auto Club offers its members Emergency Roadside Assistance for unforeseen issues. In order to keep the cost of membership to an affordable level, three service calls per membership year are included in the membership. If three service calls are used in less than a one year period, the member must renew a new membership at that time in order to continue benefits.

How does the towing reimbursement work?
If you are in need of a tow truck, you first must call Cayman Auto Club at 328-8451 to arrange towing. Vampt Motors must be the towing company used. Payment is to be made directly to Vampt Motors from the member. Once the member receives the towing bill, the member must submit a copy to Cayman Auto Club for reimbursement, as outlined in the membership plan and level. Cayman Auto Club will then issue a check reimbursing the member for the amount covered. The towing benefit can be used once per membership year.

Can I use the membership for other cars that I own?
Each membership is per person and assigned to a specific vehicle. If you would like to have another vehicle covered under the plan, a new membership must be applied and paid for.

Can I receive Emergency Roadside Assistance if I am not a member?
Yes! You may phone the Cayman Auto Club and a Roadside Assistance Vehicle will be dispatched to your location. You will be charged a fee depending upon your location and time of day (see our website) and payment is due upon the service being provided at the scene. Payment must be provided by non members for the service call and cannot be applied towards a future membership.

Can I join the Auto Club at a time when I need
Emergency Roadside Assistance?

No, membership must be processed and takes approximately three days before benefits are provided. You can fill out an application at the time for a future membership but benefits will not apply at the time and only after the application and payment has been processed.
